What Makes AGED Trust Different?

AGED Trust has checks and balances in place to ensure client funds are protected. These safeguards include:

  • Transparency: Clients have access to their accounts online to review balance and account activity and download statements
  • Audited Financials: We have audited financial statements available upon request to promote transparency and accountability in our financial operations

  • Quarterly Statements: Trust statements are mailed to clients quarterly
  • Multi-level Approval Process: Our multi-level approval process provides checks and balances for trust fund and company fund transfers
  • Elder Law Attorney Oversight: We meet regularly with an independent board-certified Wills, Trusts, Estates and Elder Attorney Firm to ensure AGED Trust is complying with ever changing statutes, laws, and regulations.
  • Using True Link: Trust assets are held by qualified securities custodians and FDIC-insured banks to ensure the security of client’s funds. We utilize True Link Financial, Inc. for trust software and True Link Financial Advisors, LLC. for trust investments. True Link also provides monthly trust reconciliation to AGED Trust, which are verified against our internal records to ensure accuracy. True Link has been in the Special Needs Industry for more than a decade and manages more than $1 Billion dollars for over 25 pooled trust companies throughout the US.
  • Utilizing Independent Service Providers: We utilize service providers for company and trust services such as accounting services, payroll services, investment services, and IT services of which no AGED Trust employees have any financial ownership or interest in.
  • Independent Board of Directors: AGED’s board of directors consists of seven individuals who meet with the Executive Director, Senior Trust Advisor, Accounting & Finance Manager, and Office Manager quarterly to review financial statements and other business. No one on the board of directors is employed by AGED Trust or any of AGED Trust’s independent service providers.
